Podium Pet Products Honoured with King’s Award for Enterprise
Podium Pet Products has become one of the first companies in the world to receive a business award from King Charles III, winning the King’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade, 2023. The honours programme, now in its 57th year, is one of the most respected business awards in the country, with successful companies able to use the esteemed King’s Awards Emblem for the next five years.
Carina Evans, Co-Founder & CEO of Podium Pet Products, said:
“This is a tremendous honour for the company and recognition of the hard work, innovation and inspiration of a talented team. Having achieved the Queen’s Award for Enterprise seven years ago was marvellous, and now to become one of the first UK companies to be honoured with a King’s Award is extra special“.
Carina was invited to attend Buckingham Palace and she was even selected to meet King Charles III himself in honour of the achievement. She was able to meet other Queen & King’s Award winners and even talk to the King about his wonderful book “Harmony”.
Given the growth that we have shown over the past few years, moving into international markets and growing our range of pet products, so that we have both Dog Rocks and Be:Loved products, it is a particularly brilliant achievement to be recognised for our international trade this year, as well as receiving the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade in 2016. To have won both awards has been a tremendous honour for our hard-working, innovative and talented team.
“Running a business is never easy and every day there are multiple curve balls, but we are absolutely over the moon to have received such an accolade“.
We look forward to continuing our efforts in International enterprise and growing the business in all of our markets.
